Chanukah: A Holiday of Redemption

The two executions scheduled for the first two nights of Chanukah are the continuation of a federal execution spree that began in July, and may continue until just before Inauguration Day.
Rabbi Benjamin Zober
Rabbi Benjamin Zober serves at Temple Sinai in Reno Nevada. He was ordained at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati in 2018. An attorney, before becoming a rabbi he served as an Assistant State Public Defender in Ohio, specializing in Death Penalty appeals. Rabbi Zober is part of a growing Jewish Abolitionist Society facebook community and has contributed to the Jewish Death Penalty Resources and Actions web page organized by Death Penalty Action.
