When he’s not finding fiction for Tikkun, Josh Bernstein is a writer and an assistant professor of English at the University of Minnesota Duluth. His first novel, Rachel’s Tomb, won the AWP Award Series Prize, the Hackney Award, and the Knut House Novel Contest, and his story collection, Stick-Light, is forthcoming from Eyewear Editions, where it was shortlisted for the Beverly Prize. His stories and essays have appeared in Boston Review, Kenyon Review Online, Tampa Review, and other journals, and have won honors from The Atlantic, Crab Orchard Review, and Redivider.
