Mike Godbe was the personal Assistant to Rabbi Michael Lerner and worked full time in the Tikkun office in downtown Berkeley between 2010 and 2011. In his work and his life he brings a commitment to social justice and creativity. Previously, he organized people against the war in Afghanistan and militarism in general while working at Peace Action West in Oakland. He is currently developing his mandolin playing and woodturning skills. He has a BA in History from Vassar College, where he specialized in historiography and the creation of historical narratives.
