Jill Goldberg is an instructor of English Literature at Langara College in Vancouver, BC and she is also a writer of fiction and non-fiction and a photographer. Her work has appeared in Matrix Magazine, Tikkun Magazine, The Dance Current, Plank Magazine and one of her short stories was anthologized by Siren Song Publishing. Jill also occasionally acts as a reviewer for the Electronic Journal of Contemporary Japanese Studies. She holds a BA in Honours English from McGill University and an MA from the University of Toronto.

In addition to her work, Jill runs a volunteer program that brings shiatsu massage to Vancouver's WISH Drop-In Centre for women and she is also currently teaching a class in writing and photography to the women there. She also volunteers internationally with Habitat for Humanity.

When she is not working, Jill rides long distances on her bike, runs half marathons, gardens in the summer, attempts to knit in the winter, and dances the tango from time to time. She also serves on the board of directors of local dance company, The Tomorrow Collective, and is a member of the Health Advisory Committee of the Vancouver branch of the Dancer Transition Resource Centre.
