Amanda Udis-Kessler is a writer, sociologist, musician, social justice educator, seminarian, and cat lover living in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Routledge published her book Queer Inclusion in the United Methodist Church in 2008; she has also published widely on issues of sexuality, religion and social justice. Her sociology doctorate is from Boston College. Amanda has released two albums; four of her hymns have been published in three hymnals. Since 1990, Amanda has been involved in LGBT public education as well as teaching numerous college-level courses on social inequality and privilege. She is starting an MDiv program at the Iliff School of Theology, and plans to become a Unitarian Universalist community minister. The cats make all the other stuff even better.
