This review and the subject highlight, for me, the arrogance of ignorance. A model--a map-- is not, can not ever be, the territory. Failing to recognize this human limitation does nothing except present "trouble."

So long as economists function primarily as apologists for one or another economic system, they fail to take into account the major flaw of each: that human beings are not simply commodities. The fact and detail of how their labor enhances or demeans their lives is not just relevant to an economic analysis, these are the defining factor of any meaningful understanding of economics.
Thanks for pointing out this review and the book it discusses.
