Today I am hoping that the HCR passes …just so Limbaugh will move to Costa Rica. If that was the only good to come out of it, it would improve our nation tremendously. His meanness of spirit and intolerance are so hurtful. He is our worst example of the right to free speech.

Why did the Deomcrats give him a standing ovation in Congress for sleeping with a minor male and not they throw out Massa for making statements that caused concern to someone who was over 18?? DEMOCRATS ARE HYPOCRITES AND THIS WAS ALL ABOUT THE HEALTHCARE BILL (bankrupt the USA and do away with individual liberties bill)

You’re quite right about that. I am aware Grayson is a Rep. I thought he had initiated the initial house letter which crossed over to the Senate. I will have to check my facts but I think that is the case. But yes, you are right that Senator Bennet initiated the Senate version to Reid.

While I love REP. Alan Grayson as much as the next progressive, you have your facts wrong on this.

First, Grayson is a REPRESENTATIVE, which means House Of Representatives, not the Senate.

Second, it was Senator Michael Bennett of Colorado who initiated the letter to Senator Reid.

Since there are few noteworthy things our Senator from Colorado has done, I’d like to see him get credit for it. ^_^

I believe what you are thinking of is Grayson’s bill in the House to open, at cost, Medicare to purchase for anyone who wants it.
