It is all very well to have kind feelings about the earth but it is not enough. One must do something. One can do something concrete and specific to benefit the planet and its people. One can do it right now - plant a tree. Buy saplings from nurseries, plant fruit from the market, buy seed packets and germinate them yourself. Wherever there is unused ground, plant a grove. Plant one a month. More if you have the time. Make your next birthday gift a shovel.
