  • Jeff Halper- Is the Two-State Solution Dead?
Rabbi Lerner: Jeff Halper thinks the 2 state solution is dead. I hope he is wrong, because every other path leads to endless repression of the Palestinian people. • Whatever happens, don't say Awwww (The CHIVE) & S A V O I A - StumbleUpon
  • uuworld.org : me, jewish?
There is a troublesome side to Jewish ethnicity as the sole element in Jewish identity proclaimed by the author of this piece. That troubling part is manifested in the Unitarian Universality Jewish Awareness list-serve, where the writers frequently become passionate defenders of Israel because that is the only part of their identity that they can proclaim, since bagels and lox and memories of the lower east side no longer suffice for their Jewishness, and the Torah tradition with its strong (if now frequently ignored even by religious Jews) injunction to "love the other" provided a foundation for a Jewish religious critique of the way the "Jewish state" was operating.
