Leila Shooshani is the operations and audience development manager at Tikkun. She brings a love for ideas, dialogue, and social justice to her work promoting outreach and development. Previously, she worked at Faith in Place, an interfaith environmental advocacy organization. Her passion for helping to foster innovative and pluralistic Jewish communities has allowed her to work with organizations like Moishe House, Urban Adamah, and Avodah: The Jewish Service Corps. She received her masters degree in philosophy from Loyola University Chicago and completed her undergraduate studies at New College of Florida, where she focused on 20th century continental philosophy.
